First of all, I have to say, these laundry sheets are brilliant! I have to give a shout out to Mightnest for introducing me to True Earth laundry sheets. I am not here to give you a long article about why laundry sheets are a great option. Chances are you are here because you care about the #bea (are they beneficial, effective and affordable) and searching for ones that are made in the USA. When you are comparing affordability, they can all make different claims about how many loads you can do. Be aware that some count in small loads!
When I was doing my search, I saw a lot of lists that claimed companies providing laundry sheets that are made in the US but with further research, they were not. So, if you care about that, take note! True Earth laundry sheets are great but they are made in Canada. Other brands that were popping up are Earth Breeze (China), Clean People (Canada), CleanCult (Puerto Rico), Clearalif (China), Lazy Coconuts (China) and Arm & Hammer (China). Others brands, like Inso Green seem to take great efforts in NOT revealing where they are manufactured.
Be careful when searching for products manufactured in the US. Some will advertise the fact that they are a USA Company, which is great. But what you won’t see is that the product is still manufactured in China.
I hope more will be manufactured in the US and I will try to keep this list update! For now, here is my choice and why!
My Pick: SHEETS LAUNDRY CLUB
They come in unscented or Fresh Linen scent.
Beneficial: I love this company first off because they are US veteran owned! They are dedicated to manufacturing all their products at their own facilities. Their ‘give back’ program gives laundry sheets to various organizations.
Effective: They work great for me (and I have 2 teen boys and do laundry for an AirB&B!) They completely dissolve and leave the laundry smelling fresh!
Affordable: So far, they are the most affordable quality brand at $0.46 a sheet.
Runner Up: There actually was only one other company that makes laundry sheets in the US and it is Wash EZE. They are used by the military and are a 3-1 product. They are laundry sheets containing soap, softener and static control. So, I am not sure how sustainable they are and since the sheet does not dissolve because you transfer it to the dryer, there is still waste. At about $0.70 per load, I guess you could be saving money since you don’t need to purchase additional products.
UPDATE: I did try the Wash EZE 3in1 Laundry Sheets. Here is what I found.
I am going to go back to the Sheets Laundry Club.
